Being selected to be one of the New Kids on the Block is a huge validation of the early success we’ve seen in the real estate industry. We’ve seen a noticeable shift in real estate. The most successful brokerages are investing more time and resources into building better agents and teams — because it’s people who are ultimately responsible for their success. The industry is really ripe for disruption, and we are really lucky to be able to be at the forefront of it at Inman Connect this year.
— Matthew Gough, Founder & CEO at Echovate.

This year, Echovate will be presenting alongside another Charleston-based startup, Punchlist, which offers agents a way to schedule and oversee pre-listing home evaluations and inspection repair estimates. In fact, Charleston is no stranger to the annual competition. Another Charleston-based startup, Preclose, was a recipient of the award last year, and Boomtown remains one of the biggest industry leaders at the conference each year.

The representation Charleston has had at Inman Connect is truly a testament to the thriving tech and entrepreneurial community here. Boomtown was certainly one of the early Charleston-based startups to pave the way for us. At Echovate, we have clients in multiple industries include healthcare, software, and higher education, but we are especially excited about the opportunities we’ve seen in real estate, added Gough.

New Kids on the Block presentation will take place at Inman Connect on Tuesday, January 29th at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square. For more information about Echovate’s people analytics software, visit echovate.com
